About the photographer… My training. I discovered a love for creative design while studying journalism and advertising at Louisiana State University. Ten years in corporate public relations in the oil and gas industry gave me the unique opportunity of working with talented photographers and design artists. My background and some divine intervention led me here. My passion. There’s no doubt I’ve always loved photography. But my passion is capturing those life moments that warm the heart. I want to help you preserve a little morsel of life. That makes it so much more than a photograph. The real reason. Caroline, Anna Kate and Camille. There are times when I want to hit “pause” on life. When our girls are laughing so hard they can’t stop. When they discover a lady bug tickles and a lemon is sour. When they jump the waves at the beach, then nap in the shade.
My philosophy. Family portraits shouldn’t have to be a once-in-a-blue-moon occasion. I work hard to keep my expenses low so you can keep more memories and come back more often. As a mom of young children, I know how hard it is to get a good photo. I shoot in parks and natural settings where everyone feels more comfortable and at ease. Portraits are sold a la carte so you’re not forced to buy something you don’t need.
